Ajayi Crowther Uni expels students for killing colleague over phone theft

The management of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo State, has expelled some students involved in a fight that resulted in the death of a fellow student.

The deceased was also said to have had his hair forcefully shaved by his assailants after he was reportedly caught with the stolen mobile phone. “They said they caught him with a stolen phone. They started beating him from 6pm yesterday until he died at about 10am today .”But the university maintained that there is no cultism within the institution.
