The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Home Grown School Feeding , Dr. Yetunde Adeniji, has allayed the fears of the inflationary trend in the country stalling the school feeding programme.
She noted: “We are committed to the feeding programme of our school children putting in place measures to address challenges that may hinder the success of the programme. Nigerians can be rest assured of Mr. President’s commitment to this programme.” Young African agritech innovators, including Nigerians will meet in Kigali, Rwanda, next month for what’s expected to be an inspiring showcase of cutting-edge, tech-driven solutions by young people transforming the agricultural sector.
The Chief Imam of Daaru Na’im Central Mosque, Sheikh Imran Abdulmajeed Eleha, has cautioned beneficiaries of zakat disbursement against abusing the gesture by turning themselves into permanent recipients of the proceeds.
