Nottingham's Nayan Jansari has been named one of the 50 winners of the next generation of developers, creators, and entrepreneurs Swift Student Challenge, supported by Apple. Recognised for his outstanding submission, ‘Mind Games – an app promoting brain health from memory to brain stimuli – Nayan, 19, is just one of two UK winners from the challenge, which received thousands of entries globally.
Nayah, currently studying Computer Science at Loughborough University, said: "My first exposure to computers and coding was in primary school and since then I have continued to explore a variety of programming languages, environments and more advanced technologies, as well as interact with different communities.
"As for apps I have on the App Store, there's nothing much to say, but do watch this space. I have many side projects that I have played and tweaked with, some that I've decided to just "archive". I have a couple of solid app ideas, but I don't seem to find the time to build them due to uni work and my other activities; I still don't know how I got my app playground built and submitted in the given time frame.
