A former Rochester bus driver has pleaded guilty Thursday to attempting to receive child pornography.

FILE - Tomas Rosario, now 75, was indicted on several charges back in 2022 for allegedly sexually abusing a 13-year-old student while working as a bus driver for Monroe Transportation Services.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Kyle Rossi says Rosario was originally facing a three-count indictment, but pleaded guilty to the most serious and provable charge. According to Rossi, Rosario was responsible for transporting the 13-year-old victim, who was known to him, both to and from school in 2022.
