Police clash with Pro-Palestine protestors at University of Oxford. The protests sent at least one building into lockdown, with reports of 16 being arrested.

Oxford students occupied a university building today in their latest demonstration against Israel's actions in Gaza - only for police to move in and arrest 16 of them.

Around 150 people gathered outside the offices with the crowd chanting 'let them go', Cherwell, the student newspaper has reported. The protesters entered the university building at 8am today and occupied an office on the first floor. 'Instead of engaging in dialogue with her students, the Vice Chancellor chose to evacuate the building, place it on lockdown, and call the police to make arrests.'
