Rec league open to players who no longer compete at college or university level

Whether you're a seasoned player or a bit out of practice, this is your chance to join a fun and inclusive community of hoopers.

Summer is busy and it’s tough to commit to a weekly sport, but the summer pickup league forms new teams each week with whomever shows up to play. The cost to join is $40 per player for the nine-week summer season. No jerseys are provided this year - bring a black and a white shirt each week. This is a recreational and not a competitive league. Registration is limited to women ages 22+ who are no longer playing at the college or university level. Games will take place every Thursday evening in July and August from 8-9 p.m at the George Leech Centre at Algoma University.

Registration is first come-first served and there are about 10 spaces left. Sign-up is open until May 31, but will close sooner if spsots fill. To register, visit https://tinyurl.com/summer24ball. Be sure to pay your registration fee to be considered fully registered. If you have any questions or need more information, feel free to reach out to .
