“The approved undergraduate programmes are: B.HIM Health Information Management and B.Sc. Development Studies while the postgraduate programmes include LL.M and Ph.D. in Common Law, LL.M. and Ph.D. in Islamic Law, and M.LIS and Ph.D. Library and Information Science,” Aliyu said. In his reaction to the NUC approval, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of KWASU, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, expressed excitement at the new programmes commencing in University.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has appointed 182 Special Assistants in a move aimed at bolstering his administration's effectiveness. The appointments, according to a statement released yesterday by the Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, take immediate effect. Our correspondent observed that the list encompasses a diverse group of individuals from various professional backgrounds.
