Buhari decries incessant strikes by universities – Daily Trust

President Muhammadu Buhari has decried the incessant strike by the university-based unions in Nigeria, saying it was seriously affecting education system in the country.

Who is the cause? The government are to be blamed for the rot in the educational sector.

With his contributions yes, it’s affecting the educational system of education in Nigeria

Buhari please be realistic is it the strike or factors causing the strike?, please try to address the causative factors squarely and stop roaming away

Then let him do something to stop the strikes. Pay the lecturers and bring to conclusions the agreement he'd with them.

Jubril must think that education starts and ends with impersonation.

Don't worry, the youths will take after you to forge their University certificate.

This can only be understood to someone who goes to University not a secondary certificate like you.

As if he knows the value of education!

Criminalise corruption as they do in China, diverts public money to yourself and receive death penalty that way you get to spend it in hell is the solution to Nigeria problem

Buhari just do talk talk and go to London afterwards, he is a clueless man. The problem of Nigeria can be solve only in 2 ways, first, reduce the outrageous salaries and entitlement giving to politicians and make polity less attractive and secondly criminalise corruption

What is he doing to stop or end it?

What causes the incessant strikes? Government has visibly abandoned education in Nigeria. Instead of striving to achieve creative and productive education, our government has, over the years, tilted towards commercial education! So bad!!

Just do the needful to avoid/stop it.

You do not reinforce failure.
