Heights High School parents ripped Houston ISD over its decision to open classes to students despite a non-working A/C after the destructive storm.Heights High School and 35 other Houston ISD campuses are closing Tuesday as the district continues recovering from last Thursday's destructive storm.However, that didn't include Reynolds Elementary School and Heights High, where classes began but later dismissed earlier after air conditioning issues on campus.
The students were dismissed immediately and were provided with a lunch to take home if they wanted. Hampton said the school will send additional updates later regarding school operations on Tuesday, May 21.
