The Creekside girls put a bow on the high school track and field state championships at UNF on Saturday night, nabbing four individual championships en route to the first team title in program history.

Reigning All-News4JAX track athlete of the year Alyson Johnson swept the 1600 and 3200 races for the second season, with teammates Sarah Rose and Janay Moorer also bringing home individual championships for the Knights.Moorer capped a stellar Saturday with a pair of runner-up finishes in the 100 and 200. Rose won a championship in the 800 and helped the Knights finish runner-up in the 3200 relay. Creekside was well in front of team runner-up Miami Southridge for the overall title.

On the 4A boys side, there were six individual championships. Flagler Palm Coast’s Colby Cronk , Oakleaf’s Takoda Brown , Nease’s Finn Thomas and Mandarin’s Jaylen Lewis all won titles. Cronk also finish runner-up in the discus. In 3A, Fleming Island’s Roman Mollicone and Ponte Vedra’s Nicholas Desanto won titles. The Golden Eagles won the 3200 relay event too.T3. Nease, 30; T8.
