Readers share the challenge in getting a kidney; agree about too many school parties; discuss the parameters of protesting; and recall the mission of Apollo 10.

We don’t know anything about the remaining six people who registered or if they are even still interested in saving my husband’s life. We only need one kidney to live. That’s all we request.Re: “Let’s take school celebrations down a notch — Parties, special days explode in May while learning waits for an opening,” by Tyra Damm, Sunday Opinion.I’m in full agreement with Damm.

However, as the brave students at the University of Texas at Dallas stated in a press conference, Jewish students were feeling intimidated, vilified and made to feel unwelcome on campus simply by virtue of who they are.

I recall similar statements in 2018 when Edmundo Paredes, another Catholic priest, fled the country after he was accused of sexually abusing children. The diocese is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.Most Americans remember the Apollo 11 lunar landing in 1969 and astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, the first men to walk on the moon.
