DELIGHTED teachers and pupils at an East End primary school are celebrating after receiving a glowing report card from inspectors.Scotland team highlighted a number of key strengths at Haghill Park Primary School and Nursery Class, including “highly-motivated staff” and “positive and caring relationships ... that reflect the school values.”

Inspectors also praised the “strong team approach across the whole school community” which is “improving learning opportunities for children and families.” “Staff should develop further the use of data to more clearly show how much and how well children progress overtime and … staff should continue to develop and implement approaches to learning through play within the school. This should include planned working with nursery practitioners to share effective practice.”
