A former Mosman swimming coach already facing 35 charges of abusing children has been charged with a 36th offence in relation to a tenth alleged victim.
Kyle Daniels, 20, was charged with the sexual abuse of two girls aged six and eight in March. In the intervening three weeks, seven more girls aged under 10 have come forward with allegations against the former Mosman Swim Centre coach.On Wednesday, detectives from the State Crime Command's Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad charged Mr Daniels with an additional count of indecently assaulting a person under 16 years, in relation to a seven-year-old girl.
A parent made a complaint about Mr Daniels' alleged "inappropriate holds" of her child as far back as July last year, a successful bail application in Manly Local Court heard last month.Kyle Daniels, right, who is accused of sexually assaulting children he was teaching to swim.
The Sydney University student intends to plead not guilty to all offences and denies the allegations.understands the police case does not rely solely on the testimony of the alleged victims, but will also use CCTV footage.Mr Daniels was released from custody in March after his parents posted a $100,000 surety for his conditional freedom.
His bail conditions include reporting daily to Manly police station, not going to pools or beaches and surrendering his passport.
