Josh Frydenberg announces grants for Holocaust museum, autism school

Melbourne’s Holocaust museum and a children’s specialist education school will receive federal government funding boosts, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has announced.

About 23,000 Victorian school students visit the museum – the first of its kind in Australia - annually, and museum director Jayne Josem said the funding would put towards doubling the number of students that can be hosted. The museum funding is in addition to the $16 million currently being raised by the museum for a new building.
