Suspected bandits on Thursday night invaded the Confluence University of Science and Technology, , Osara, Kogi State and kidnapped an unspecified number of students. The students who were preparing for their semester examination were said to have gone to their classes to read when the attackers invaded the school.
He added that some of the students who took cover in the nearby bush have all returned to the school. As at the time of filling this report, the university authority were said to be carrying out a head count of the students to be able to ascertain the actual number of students that have abducted.
