George Mason University selects justice accused of sexual assault for post at Runnymede, ‘birthplace of modern democracy’

George Mason University should support sexual assault survivors by not hiring sexual predators .

Outrageous. He is accused, but in no way found guilty or convicted, of assault. He is a Justice of the Supreme Court, nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate. He is, under the law, an innocent and very distinguished man. But some students don’t like him. So what?

Were any of the accusations against him proved ?

Rubbish to suggest a boycott, let him speak and put his argument then debate and offer other arguments. Boycotting is not always the answer.

“The decision, controversial as it may be, in no way affects the university’s ongoing efforts to eradicate sexual violence from our campus.” Totally missed the point. Poor, poor decision.

I drove past Runnymede the other day. It’s a damp field. How the hell is he going to teach a course there? Did I miss the lecture theater?

Some countries have higher standards thank goodness.

The UK should deny him an entry visa. They routinely deny criminals access to their fair isle.

Let these snowflakes try to get a job in the real world once they leave their safe spaces. Better get used to living in your parents’s basement
