The family of Keenan Anderson is asking a judge to order LAPD to hand over a number of reports and witness statement in connection to the Washington, D.C., teacher's Taser death.

Relatives of Keenan Anderson, a Black man who went into cardiac arrest and died after being fired upon multiple times with a stun gun in a struggle with Los Angeles police in 2023 in Venice want a judge to order the department to turn over a number of related reports and witness statements.Anderson, the father of a 5-year-old son, had been a teacher for more than eight years, most recently at Digital Pioneers Academy, a charter high school in Washington, D.C.

"Moreover, this case raises questions concerning the questionable training and use of force by the police officers that directly led to Mr. Anderson's death.
