A graduation ceremony was held in Seneca County on Friday, May 3, 2024, for some of the newest Correction Officers in the region. Seneca County, N.Y. — The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office sponsored a ten-week Basic School for Correction Officers, and the graduation ceremony was held on Friday. The course was instructed by members of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from partner agencies. The course covered crisis de-escalation, officer wellness, defensive tactics, and other relevant topics.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office said it is proud to announce that Officer Caleb Corbett, Officer Cole Henderson, Officer Dylan Jackson, Officer Michael MacCheyne, and Officer Kevin Zettlemoyer graduated.Pictured : Sheriff Thompson, Undersheriff Marquart, Chief Deputy Reed, Officer MacCheyne, Officer Henderson, Officer Zettlemoyer, Officer Corbett, Lieutenant Kierst, and Officer Jackson.
