A group of local artists are painting basketball courts at Brooks School Park in Fishers as a tribute to Fishers native and NBA player Gary Harris.FISHERS, Ind. — With each roll of the paint brush, Kota Witsken and her fellow artists are one layer closer to their latest masterpiece.
However, these murals aren't on canvas or in an exhibit. They're on the basketball court, and it's a full court press."He grew up just a street away from Brooks School Park and these courts are where he learned the game," said Witsken about Harris."So he wanted to give back to the community that helped him find his dream."Kota Witsken takes a paint roller to a basketball court at Brooks School Park in Fishers.
