As an Endowed Chair, this position offers a highly competitive salary and start up package, including recurring annual funding to support scholarship activities.Develop and maintain collaborations with faculty within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, the Neuroscience Institute, and the University of South Florida, as well as those in their professional domain.
Contribute to student / trainee mentoring in the Department of Psychiatry – from graduate student and post-doctoral trainees to medical students, residents, and fellows – opportunities abound. Engage in service functions of the department and university, as well as at the national levels, including professional organization committees, editorial boards, and study sections.PhD or MD in a developmental neurobiology basic science or related field. Candidate must be able to meet University criteria for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. Candidate is expected to have already established an internationally recognized, competitively funded, research program.
