Let the experts argue. In my financial planning practice I see real people who are struggling to balance student loans and having children. Currently, I’m working with someone who likely has to make a choice between paying off her student loans and starting a family. If she pays off the loans, it’ll be nearly impossible for her to afford having a child. If she has a child, it would introduce expenses that make it extraordinarily difficult to keep repaying the loans.

Yeah no shit Forbes

160k in student loans?! They better be doctors for that much money

😒

You mean like the adults they are? Im on the cusp, 1979, consider myself a genX but could go either way. Its entirely possible to balance it all, trust me. I have 4 kids, a house 3 cars, a kid in college, and a retirement fund growing.

thanks for updates forbes

I’d say this tweet is pretty tone deaf. We’re fucked as a generation. Do you get that? There are no parallels. There is no access to wealth for us to tap into. Our best hope is that your generation wraps things up and leaves us your money.

Adults entering or in adulthood need to learn how to be adults. Got it.

Retirement and home ownership, that's laughable. Having kids, completely irresponsible since the planet is dying and no one is doing anything about it.

Do millennials have parents ?

Retirement?
