A GoFundMe page organized for students occupying Northwestern University’s campus in protest of the conflict in Gaza has raised over $12,000 in donations within three days., organized by “NU Aid,” states the funds will be used “to supply us with food, supplies, legal aid, and more.

"Given the International Court of Justice’s preliminary ruling on the matter of genocide in Gaza, Northwestern University could be found guilty by association as a public relations partner of the settler colony of Israel," the resolution reads.shows pictures and video from “Northwestern’s Liberation Zone.” One video shows crowds of protesters waving Palestinian flags while counter protesters hoist American and Israeli flags. Loud rap music can be heard from a nearby speaker.

For the benefit of encampment goals, we are advising non university members to not stay overnight,” organizers wrote. “As a part of wind down, we'd like to remind everyone that the city of Evanston's noise ordinance goes into effect at 11PM tonight. Let's get a good recharge so we can bring the energy tomorrow!”
