The horror incident is believed to have happened next to Stobhill Primary School on Hillside Crescent North, Gorebridge at around 11.45am on Monday.

Locals reported a heavy police presence in the area, as well as paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service being in attendance. It's believed the man was taken to the hospital to be treated for the injuries he sustained during the alleged attack.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.45am on Monday, 29 April, 2024, officers received a report of a man having been injured by a dog on Hillside Crescent North, Gorebridge.
