Schoolchildren on holiday were present and chanting anti-Semitic slogans at a pro-Palestine protest at the University of Sydney, hosted and organised by academic and activist Dr Randa Abdel-Fattah.
On the University of Sydney Welfare Action Group’s Instagram page, the student organisation posted an image of Dr Abdel Fattah smiling as a child, who appears to be as young as five, speaks into the detachable microphone of a megaphone. The organisation made an update on their page which was titled “Day 4 at the USyd Encampment for Gaza!!” in which they announced there would be face painting and a Tatreez workshop.
Face painting was offered for the children, while a Tatreez workshop was open for the adults, the university's SRC social media page announced.
