Georgetown University Business School,Omar Wilson

Georgetown University Business School, United States, has promised to partner with Abia State in its youth development and empowerment programme, which aims at helping the youths to develop their talents and also learn life-enhancing skills.

A delegation of the university, who came into Nigeria last week, also promised to provide opportunities for youths and other stakeholders through grants for the building of essential infrastructure for development.

The delegation’s visit to the embassy was part of the weeklong working tour of the country’s entertainment industry. Minister of State for Defence, Dr Bello Matawalle says the Nigeria Navy has recruited 1,486 personnel to boost the manpower needed for effective internal security operations in the Niger Delta.

The recent drop in the cost of indomie noodles is due to noticeable improvement in the country’s economy in recent times and not linked to reduced patronage, the producer of Indomie Instant Noodles, Dufil Prima Foods Ltd., has said.
