GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — A possible homicide is under investigation after a body was found near Cherry Creek High School Saturday morning.said officers responded to the area of East Union Avenue, just east of South Yosemite Street, and found the victim's body. The area is across the street from the high school.

The death is being investigated as a possible homicide, but police weren't able to share any details on the cause of death or circumstances surrounding the death. However, the death does not appear to be school-related.Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.

From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
