We saw a lot of this in the wake of the riots in summer 2020. Protesters would willfully break laws, get busted, then sue cities for basically being mean. Sympathetic progressive DAs would drop or reduce charges, and liberal city councils would pay out to the rioters. What a scam. While Israel’s government contends it is destroying Hamas, it is also creating more enemies, dedicated to Israel’s destruction and with nothing else to live for.
