Brown University,Protesters,Divestment

Friday marked the third day of the Gaza Solidarity Encampment on Brown University's campus in Rhode Island.

It is in effect until 6 PM Friday evening. Most of today's severe weather threat will remain north of our area.Dozens of tents are on the main green of campus, with hundreds of students joining the demonstrations during the day.

A small victory for the protesters happened on Thursday, as the university community council, which is an advisory committee to the president, voted to pass two resolutions related to their demands.
