"Take your intifada and shove it! Don't Mess with Texas," said Rep. Beth Van Duyne, R-Texas, in a post on X. "This is how it is done @Columbia. Thank you @JCHartzell," state Rep. Craig Goldman wrote, tagging the president of UT Austin in his post.Out of hundreds of protesters, 50 people were arrested, the Texas Department of Public Safety told the Examiner on Thursday. Hundreds of state troopers were on campus Wednesday until they were able to successfully move the group from school buildings to a commercial street.
