Police have shared a picture they described as 'truly shocking' after stopping a car outside a school. The picture taken from a police officer's body-mounted camera shows a baby lying on the front-seat of the car.
Officers then also found other children on the backseat who didn't have their seatbelts on, police said. There was also a baby seat in the back of the car - which wasn't being used. Inspector Jamie Buchanan, of Greater Manchester Police’s Specialist Operations, said: "We posted an image on social media yesterday which highlights the overarching mission of our roads policing officers; to work towards zero fatalities on our roads. Our officers do this by working with the public of Greater Manchester to highlight and educate on road safety issues, paying particular emphasis to re-enforce 'Fatal Four' offences.
