Private school proprietors, under the aegis of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, NAPP, have appealed to government to provide adequate security, reduce taxes, and make policies that would aid their operations.

This appeal was made at a one-day capacity building training, themed “Quality Assurance Compliance & Safety Precautions in Schools,” organized by NAPPS in Lagos.

He said: “The reason for NAPPS’ collaboration with the government is for us to understand the policies of the government better to avoid violations. While we are doing this, we are appealing to the government to always support private schools in Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.”They should help us in terms of security, in terms of running quality schools and reducing our taxes by eradicating double taxation. These are things the government can do for us to ease the pressure on us.
