The city highlighted two past incidents at short-term vacation rentals in the last week, resulting in multiple people detained and arrested.JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — The City of Jacksonville Beach is calling on the governor to develop"meaningful legislation" and veto a bill that affects laws regarding short-term vacation rentals.

The city pointed to concerns about corporate ownership and"gang member parties" at short-term rentals that have prompted residents in the area to call on local law enforcement. The summary included three things the city says make up a majority of complaints: noise, parking and trash.
