Montgomery County Police investigate a threat made to Einstein High School that prompted student evacuations in Montgomery County, Md. on April 23, 2024. Two Montgomery County high schools are on notice after police reported threats made to both schools Tuesday morning, according to police.
Montgomery County police said at 10:34 p.m. Wootton High School in Rockville was under a shelter-in-place and Albert Einstein High School in Kensington has been evacuated following serious threats made. As of 11:07 a.m., the lockdown at Wootton High School was lifted and the threat was deemed non-credible. At around 11:30 a.m., students at Einstein High School were seen returning to the building, based on a live video from SkyTrak7.and Middle School. As of 11:10 a.m., Anne Arundel police said the threats were deemed non-credible.
