With just a few weeks left of school, the push is happening right now to keep violence from exploding over the summer., and our local groups are stepping on the gas when it comes to prevention."A lot of community concerning urban the resources don't get to them as they should," Linden Community and Columbus Ohio stop the Violence Founder Derrick Russell said. "Without food, clothing, or shelter, that brings up the violence.

Russell said he sees community members doing the work when it comes to conflict resolution and problem solving, but the work is not done. "Most definitely we're glad about where it's at now," he said, "but we have to stay out in the front of it because the min we sit back and think we accomplished it could creep back on us so we need to stay in front of it."Here is a list of the future events that anyone can attend:May 13 and 20 at Mount Zion International on 1758 Cleveland Ave.July 22 and 29 at Linden Recreation Center on 1350 BriarwoodSept.
