JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Social Development MEC Nandi Mayathula-Nkosi will visit a crèche in Carltonville on Thursday afternoon after videos emerged on social media of a teacher assaulting toddlers.In the video, the teacher is seen lowering the little girl's pants and repeatedly slapping her buttocks before hitting her on the head several times.
Two other videos were posted on social media, allegedly of the same teacher assaulting other children.
The owners are to be held Accountable to the full extent. How oblivious can you be not to notice what's going on in your establishment. NONSENSE!!! I removed my son from a well known cresche in our area because my gut was spot on after viewing footage.
Seems there is a crisis in this child care centre.
If that was my child I would be in jail right now.
But why is it a woman would react that way? What did the child do? blackchild

This is heartbreaking coz we trust educators to take good care of our little ones, especially kids this young who are still innocent 😢😩😭😭
Since seeing this video, i can't wash it off my mind. It's disturbing that an adult can put toddlers thru such an ordeal, and it's frightening to imagine that this was happening silently until this video. I feel for the parents whose kids experienced this horror.💔
We as parents need to check tell tale signs. My daughter suddenly did want to go to school at grade R and i knew something was wrong. I enquired from her and she was reluctant to talk. I changed the schools and only then she confided that her teacher smacked her for vomiting.
Vicarious liability to the owner of creche
While we are sad about these occurence what does the pigskinned cougar who owns the creche has to say or does she walk free without any response?
If ever I meet his piece of a shit on the street I will deal with her the best way I know how?

Seeing such videos gets me the chills. I have a year old hyperactive baby girl and looking at this woman beating this girl just breaks my heart thinking that this could happen to my baby. The continuous beating on the head is just unacceptable. Creche teachers need to be vetted.

Some people blame the person who took the video clip how would we know if that person didn't make a clip and decide to stop her then it ends there so she can continue abusing the child next time, people are too quick to judge this clip did save more kids

Thank God ! the school must close down it is a horrific place for children to go to . The teachers do not love children and they do not love their jobs . The owner of the creche must also be held liable for what is happening in the school.
