Earlier this year it was announced that a flight school would be coming to Tuskegee University, but this new proposed plan could help students can explore a career in the skies before they go to college.

Updated: Apr. 20, 2024 at 6:32 AM CDT) - As pilot shortages continue nationwide, one local aviation school is hoping a proposed new expansion will help supply the next generation.

The Shorter Achievement Zone is described as a Pre-K to pilot pipeline that could have students with a private pilot’s license before they step onto the university campus, in addition to graduates having a STEM focused aviation background.
