Glitches in 'new and improved' FAFSA application leave millions of students in limbo also known as FAFSA, have experienced problems and errors while trying to submit what is being called the "new and improved" application.
The wording on some of the questions was kind of backwards," said high school senior Emmanuela Francique. "Even though it was a straightforward question like, would you like your parents to be added to your FAFSA? It was backwards. A lot of people my age were on TikTok and googling how to answer the questions."
"If we're being honest, it has not, it has not seemed to be as simple for our students because of all the issues they have faced," said Ashley Logan, the chief program officer at the nonprofit I Know I Can. Francique said she has now submitted her complete FAFSA for review after months of worry and is now just waiting to receive financial aid offer letters to make the big decision.
