Fresh allegations of historical sexual harassment have been made against disgraced former Melbourne lord mayor Robert Doyle by a former female student of his at an elite Victorian college.
“He touched my leg several times and tried to make out that his hand had slipped off the gear stick, on to my leg. Robert Doyle was a teacher at the school when he assaulted me.” Two women have already made statements about Mr Doyle to a detective who is investigating the case for Victoria Police. Another woman is expected to make a statement to police this week, and potentially another two will make formal statements next week.The women who have alleged sexual harassment include fellow former Melbourne City councillors Tessa Sullivan and Cathy Oke.
“I want to get on with my life, I want my family to get on with our lives. I want to do this for my life, my employment, my husband’s employment. I want to read the report.”
