Most high school seniors get home from school or work and need some time to relax, play some video games, or head off to an extracurricular activity. CJ Brown is different.

Meet the school boy with all the bird business, out along County Road 12!MONTGOMERY, Ala. - CJ Brown knows his birds.Right in the middle of a West Montgomery neighborhood he has his own bird sanctuary.With some help from mom, ten years ago he started up Brown’s Birds.

At the age of 8, CJ Brown started collecting birds. Now he's a high school senior and Brown's Birds is thriving, and so is the young man running it.CJ is a senior at Evangel Christian Academy in Montgomery. Along with another part time job, he takes care of close to 150 birds. He spends hours every day taking care of them. Eventually they will breed and he can sell the babies. It’s quite a process.
