Robbins, a preliminary overview of the 2025 fiscal year budget is expected to produce a deficit of $52 million, a considerable improvement from the previous year when the deficit was $162 million.
The Associated Press also cited a miscalculation of cash reserves by the school's accounting.It also says they experienced a period of "accelerated spending" beginning in 2022 that led to a $140 million decline in cash and investments from its 2022 accounting compared to 2023.The university has an annual budget of $2.7 billion, according to its financial action plan.
