More than 1,000 people visited the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) last weekend for the annual Preston Health Mela. Organised by the National F

Organised by the National Forum for Health and Wellbeing , in partnership with the University’s School of Medicine and Dentistry, theto the general public, as well as the chance to speak to health care professionals and enjoy Bollywood dancing and free Reiki and yoga taster sessions.

UCLan Honorary Fellow Russell Hogarth, Community Ambassador and Chair of the UCLan Creative Communities Group which helps to run the Mela said that those who attended “appreciated the opportunity to get a free health check”.
