Quarryville,Shots Fired At House,Shots Fired At School Employee's House

A school employee lives at the home that was targeted by gunfire on Monday night.

Police in Quarryville, Lancaster County, continue to search for the person who fired a gun at a home Monday night.The Solanco School District said a high school employee lives at the home that was targeted.The district won't say who the employee is but did tell students to stay home Tuesday just to be safe.District officials say students should report to school as usual on Wednesday.'There's no current threat to the public right now.

They came last night and did a phenomenal job safeguarding and securing, protecting the folks at the residence,' said the chief.Then, detectives started canvassing the area.'We were trying to contact local neighbors who had ring cameras and the outdoor camera systems,' the chief said. Now, officers are working with the County Forensics Team and County Detectives to find the shooter.
