SINGAPORE: A 12-year-old student was taken to the hospital on Tuesday (Apr 16) after a car hit her at a pedestrian crossing outside Bukit View Secondary School.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force also told CNA it was alerted to a traffic accident along the same street at about 7.10am.She has since been discharged from hospital, said Bukit View Secondary School's principal Jaswant Singh on Tuesday afternoon.A 50-year-old male car driver is assisting with police investigations, the police said, adding that investigations are ongoing.
