NSFAS Successfully Disburses Funds for Tertiary Education

In a concerted effort to support tertiary education, the has successfully disbursed funds for both University and TVET college students for the 2024 academic cycle.

“NSFAS would like to remind all institutions that the monthly payment date for TVET college allowances is the 25th of every month, and for universities it is the 30th of every month,” said NSFAS. In the current payment cycle, NSFAS allocated a total of R2 306 583 222.00 for University allowances. Additionally, this amount is distributed across various categories, including tuition, allowances via universities, and direct payments to students.
