Samuel Woodward, the man accused of stabbing and killing college student Blaze Bernstein, will finally face trial after six years. Prosecutors argue that the murder was hate motivated due to Bernstein's Jewish and gay identity. The trial is expected to last two to three months with numerous potential witnesses and law enforcement officials testifying.

It’s been six years since the body of college student Blaze Bernstein was found in a shallow grave in Borrego Park in Lake Forest.

Prosecutors have argued that the brutal murder of Bernstein was hate motivated because the then-19-year-old was Jewish and gay. Shohei Ohtani says he feels settled off the field and at the plate. He even spilled a secret hitting drill
