SAN ANTONIO — UTSA officials say a student is facing charges after they were spotted painting what campus police called"anti-Israel" graffiti at the university plaza, Sombrilla.

"The individual fled when confronted by an officer but was pursued and arrested a few minutes later near the bus oval," the statement reads. More than 33,000 Palestianians have been killed in the war since Oct. 7, according to the Associated Press. Comparatively, more than 1,100 Israelis have died. KENS 5 has brought numerous firsts to South Texas television, including being the first local station with a helicopter, the first with its own Doppler radar and the first to air a local morning news program.
