HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: BEC Bears advance to Coal Bowl Classic final against Hants East Tigers

NEW WATERFORD, N.S. – The Breton Education Centre Bears will look to do what no other team from the school has ever done before and that’s win back-to-back New Waterford Coal Bowl Classic titles.

Cameron Davenport had a team-high 12 points while Paxton Blackburn and Akeem Gray both had eight points apiece for the Griffins. Edouard Beaubien had a team-high 18 points while Louis-David Gagnon had 10 points and Hugo Bertrand and Matheo Demers both had nine points apiece for the Insulaire.
