NEWS BRAUNFELS - Friends and family of Caleb Harris came together Thursday night in his hometown of New Braunfels to mark one month since the 21-year-old's disappearance. They joined in prayer during a candlelight vigil at Landa Park to pray for the missing college student's safe return home.
"A way to get the word out, spread the love of Caleb and light his way home," said his mother Becky Harris. "The more people that are praying, the better. And so, we decided to do it at the same time." "In some ways, it feels a lot longer, and then in some ways it feels like time has passed really quickly," she explained. "It feels like it's not happening to me. It's somebody else's story. So, it makes it surreal."
"But I still feel strongly that we will find him," she said. "Have him come home to us where he belongs."
