The principal says a student discovered the message on a restroom wall and reported it to school staff.

A handwritten threat found at Cedar Cliff High School in Cumberland County on Wednesday is not believed to be credible, according to the principal.Kevin Fillgrove said a student discovered the message on a restroom wall and reported it to school staff.After consulting with the school resource officer and Lower Allen Township police, the district felt it safe for classes to continue as scheduled.There was also an increase in police and administrative presence in and around the campus.

Upon learning of the message, Cedar Cliff administration notified the School Security Guard, School Resource Officer , and District’s Director of Safety and Student Attendance to assist in our investigation. After consultation with the SRO and Lower Allen Township Police Department, the District felt it safe for classes to continue as scheduled at Cedar Cliff.
