A study conducted at The University of Michigan reveals that couples who regularly drink together tend to have longer relationships and lives. Light drinking is associated with better survival rates.

The study conducted by Professor Birditt at The University of Michigan found that couples who regularly drink together tend to live longer than those where neither partner drinks or only one does. Light drinking was found to predict better survival rates among individuals and their partners compared to abstaining and heavy drinking.
